Even in miniature, the kitchen is the heart of the home. It's the place we gather to share each other's lives, share good things hot from the oven, and to enjoy the company of family and friends.

 In this kitchen, the traditional Dutch atmosphere is evident, from the Dutch packages on the wall shelf, to the high ceiling reminiscent of the 17th century traditional Dutch "baby houses" - cabinet houses that were the forerunners of miniatures collecting. Following that tradition, this house is in a cabinet.

 Bright shades of yellow and pink, contrasted with a cheery orange trim, make even mundane chores like washing dishes a delight! (Well, almost).

 The freshest produce and a variety of canned goods are available to homemakers at the local market.
