Sweet Dreams - Kitty's Miniature Bedrooms
"O Sleep! O gentle sleep! Nature's soft nurse..."
(William Shakespeare, King Henry the Fourth, Part II, Act 1, Scene 1)

No matter the age, everyone, even dollhouse inhabitants, look forward to a good night's sleep. Nothing, of course, promotes a hearty and satisfactory meeting with the Sandman than pleasing, restful and attractive surroundings.
Of course, despite the charming decor of this children's bedroom (left) and this soothing yellow bedroom, (right) peace is likely fleeting. No surprise in a room with twin beds, right? or one shared by an older child and a baby.

"...I held a jewel in my fingers, And went to sleep..."
(Emily Dickinson, Part Three: Love XXXIII)
What parent or adult wouldn't look forward to retiring to these rooms? Rescued from the street and given a new life, this house (left) features a bedroom decorated in lovely shades of pink and yellow. The bedroom and bath in this up-to-date Victorian house (right) is elegant, yet comfortably detailed in shades of pink, maroon and white.
